🍞 October Brings Fresh Skills and New Possibilities at Springs of Joy Center

As October drew to a close, there was fresh evidence of progress at Springs of Joy Center. Last week, the young men took to the kitchen and baked their own bread — a practical achievement that brought the satisfaction of creating something they could enjoy together. It was another opportunity to put their growing independence into practice, with the reward coming straight from the oven. 🍞

Beyond the kitchen, their hands have also been busy in the workshop. A foldable chair, made by the young men at the center, stands as a reminder that skills acquired through training can become useful, tangible products. It takes patience, concentration and practice to turn materials into a finished piece of furniture. For these young men, every completed project offers another reason to believe in what they can accomplish. 🪑

These developments point to something much bigger than bread and furniture. The young men are gaining practical abilities, discovering their potential, and experiencing the value of productive work. More importantly, they are being encouraged to build their lives on a stronger foundation through faith in God. Having experienced the goodness of the Lord and gained skills that can help them pursue a better future, there is hope that they will continue moving forward rather than return to the streets. 🙏

There is still work ahead, and every step deserves prayer, encouragement, and continued support. We are grateful to everyone walking alongside Springs of Joy Center and helping make these opportunities possible. Your support contributes to an environment where young men can learn, grow in faith, and prepare for life beyond the center. ❤️

The Lord is faithful, and the work continues.
