🪚 From Needing Help to Making Chapati: James’ Remarkable Three-Month Journey

Three months ago, James arrived at the center in a condition that left him struggling with even the most basic daily tasks. Alcohol and drugs had taken a heavy toll on his body. He was extremely weak, often weary, and at one point needed someone to feed him because he could not manage it himself. He had also never had the opportunity to attend school.

Today, there is a very different picture.

James can be found in the workshop learning carpentry, handling tools and cutting pieces of timber as he develops a skill he had never known before. He is also beginning another kind of lesson—learning to write his own name and slowly getting familiar with reading the Bible. For someone who had never been to school, these may seem like small exercises, but they represent an entirely new door opening.

Then there are the moments that catch everyone by surprise. The same man who once needed to be fed was recently in the kitchen preparing chapati, doing it with a smile that said more than words could. Watching James move around with renewed energy is the kind of development that makes people stop and appreciate just how far he has travelled in such a short time.

His journey is still young, and there is much more to learn. But already, the contrast is remarkable—from physical weakness and dependence to picking up tools, learning letters, knowing the Lord, and confidently taking part in everyday activities.

For those witnessing his progress, the question almost answers itself: who could bring such a change in a man's life except God? We give Him all the glory for what He is doing in James' life and trust Him for the days still ahead.🙌

Why did Moses never use social media?

Because he already had two tablets! 📱📱
